Balance and Functional Training
Balance Training and Functional Training is geared toward keeping you strong enough to perform everyday activities such as walking, stepping on and off curbs, climbing stairs, getting up and down from a seated position, reaching above you, turning, pushing, pulling, sudden stops and much more. Functional and balance training often imitates day-to-day motions and activities creating an increase in strength and mobility. The goal is to be able to perform all these activities safely and with confidence of not losing your balance and falling.
We will work together to increase your total body strength and learn techniques to practice at home to enhance your daily living and keep you active throughout your life.
